Adviser Development, Educational Programs and Training (ADEPT)

ADEPT is a training and development program established by and for UCSC advisors.  Quarterly programs are offered to educate and train campus advisors and to provide a support network for staff.  Contact info: Sarah Rogerson (rogerson@ucsc.edu) or Lynne Wolcott (cowell@ucsc.edu).

Mission Statement
ADEPT is a participatory and inclusive organization of academic and student affairs advisors that provides training, development, and networking opportunities for the UC Santa Cruz advising community.  It aims to supplement training provided to advisors in their units, tailor programs to meet advisors' stated needs, and create a community of learning for advisors, with the ultimate goal of improving advising for UCSC students.
