Revised letter grade calculation, 2020:2021

How do I know if I'm satisfying the graduation requirement that no more than 25% of my credits can be earned as P/NP?

It's an undergraduate graduation requirement that no more than 25% of a student's UCSC credits (including those taken while on UCEAP or the UC Intercampus Visitor Program) can be earned on a P/NP basis. During 2020 and 2021, however, policies were temporarily revised to allow greater flexibility.

For which quarters were P/NP grades not included in the 25% calculation?

Spring 2020; summer 2020; fall 2020; winter 2021; spring 2021; summer 2021. Also, if a student received a "P" grade for a letter-grade option class, like those rare grades that happened during the fall 2019 and winter 2020 grading strike, those P/NP grades are not counted in the 25% formula.

How do I know whether I'm satisfying the graduation requirement?

From your MyUCSC Student Center, navigate to the "Student Advising Summary," and click on the "Statistics" tab. You should find the information you need there - contact your college advisors if you have questions.
