Online Classes and Proctoring

UC Santa Cruz offers some online classes (online status is indicated in the Class Search), and some UC Santa Cruz students choose to take online classes from other UC’s through Cross-Enrollment.  If you pursue either of these online options, your instructor will give you information about any necessary proctoring of exams.

Occasionally, UC Santa Cruz students take classes through another institution and seek proctoring services at UC Santa Cruz.  UC Santa Cruz does not have an on-campus proctoring service, but local and online resources include:

• ProctorU

Check with the institution through which you are taking the class to verify that your choice of proctoring service is acceptable.
